Languages: ENGLISH and FRENCH (bilingual)

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with writing automated tests.
  • Knowledge of test automation tools eg Selenium, JUnit, TestWhiz.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point).
  • Independent, result-oriented and flexible.
  • Able to work in an international and multicultural environment.
  • A team player with good communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and learning skills.
  • To have meticulous approach to work-related tasks.
  • Ability to prioritise among tasks and meet deadlines.
  • General knowledge of the EU institutions.

Description of work:

  • Write manual test cases and test scenarios.
  • Perform scheduled and on-demand manual tests on new releases of applications.
  • Manage the infrastructure for planning and executing automated tests.
  • Write and develop automated test cases and test plans.
  • Plan and execute automated tests on a regular basis.
  • Proactively work on bettering test infrastructure.
  • Analyse users’ requests, extract and compile data from those requests.
  • Be the first point of contact for first line and second line questions and you will ensure and perform all communication with the end-users.
  • Ensure the follow-up of incident/issue tickets and attempt to resolve them.
  • Provide services to all the applications’ stakeholders according to ITIL best practices using an IT Service management application to handle and document all requests.
  • Maintain FAQs, user guides and document all relevant information.
  • Prepare and provide online training for end-users.
  • Based on test results, use applications’ databases to track and identify defects and to propose solutions to the development and to the business.
  • Prepare and present various presentations.
  • Provide advice or suggestions for any improvements to work methods according to agreed objectives.
  • Produce on a regular basis your individual and team work performance reports.
